Our programme is tough, but we make no apologies for that, in fact we think that it is a strength of our programme. Graduates and employers can have confidence in the integrity of our assessment processes which is the responsibility of the University of London academics.
Although our assessment centres can be found all over the world, all papers are set and marked in London, and students are assessed to a comparable standard as if they were studying at one of the 6 laws schools that make up the laws consortium.
It is also worth stressing that many of our graduates don't study law to go into the law profession. The knowledge and critical thinking skills students acquire in obtaining the LLB are highly relevant and valued in a range of occupations and professions. For example, many law graduates enter the commercial or financial professions, local or central government service, international or intergovernmental organisations. Graduates have also entered the 'third sector', working for aid, development or environmental organisations.
