Shreshta Fernando is a product of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo. He completed his university education at the Royal Institute of Colombo where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws LLB (Hons) Degree through the University of London International programme, and was called to the Bar in 2010. He is a member of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka and Colombo Law Society. He joined Sudath Perera Associates, one of the leading law firms in Sri Lanka, as a legal assistant, worked his way up the ladder in the law firm structure, and was appointed as a Partner in 2016. He served as Partner and Criminal Counsel until July 2017. With over seven years of legal experience, he is now the founder of Marian Chambers. At the Marian Chambers, he has a team of seven lawyers who are equipped to handle all areas of law, specializing in Criminal law, Tax, Intellectual Property, regulatory matters (Food Act, Consumer Affairs Authority) and Money recovery matters. His main aim is to avoid litigation and to resolve problems through communication.
